APRIL 2015 Beginning of relationship with Commonwealth of Learning (COL)
AUG – SEPT 2015 Participation in One Week Introductory workshop on Flexible Skills Development and Flexible and Blended Approach (FSD/FaB) organized by NBTE and COL at Kaduna. 5 Participants are involved:

  2. Mr. Uduak Inyang-Udoh – Director, Academic Planning Unit.
  3. Dr. Funmilayo Doherty – Coordinator UNEVOC Centre.

  5. Mr. John Okewole – UNEVOC Centre
OCT 2015 Participation in 6 weeks intensive Flexible Skills Development – Online Course organized by COL. 9 Participants:

NOV 2015 1st Sensitization workshop on FSD/FaB for Principal officers, Deans, Directors and Heads of Departments was held in the College
(50 Participants)
DEC 2015 Visit of COL Education Specialist to the College and 3-day workshop for on FSD/FaB implementation for Principal officers, Deans, Directors and Heads of Departments.
JAN 2016 Appointment of FSD Champions and inaugural meeting on further implementation of FSD.
FEB 2016 Champions commenced work on Non Formal Course Development and production of Open Education Resource (OER).
MAR 2016 Preparation for development of several Non Formal Courses in the College. Interaction with COL experts through INVEST platform.
APR 2016 Establishment of Flexible Skills Development Centre to cater for all aspects of Flexible Learning and appointment of Dr. (Engr.) I. A. Abdul as its pioneer Director.
MAY 2016 6-Day intensive workshop on Instructional design for 20 Non Formal Courses was held in collaboration with COL.
